Now I'm checking into printing.I have a new plotter, HP's T1100ps, an old plotter HP's 750c+, and a digital copier, Imigistic's cm2520.When I open a drawing last edited on AutoCAD 2004 I can go to the paper space tab I named "plot" and see the view I expected. This is a report on V8.1.18-1-en_US.The menu issues have settled down so that part looks promising.

To delete a layout you'll need to right-click on the layout tab and select the 'Delete' option. To rename a layout, right-click on the layout tab and select the 'Rename' option to give your layout a suitable name. You can create as many layouts as you want by clicking on the plus sign. Here you can change the parameters of this layout. To finish, you'll click on 'Layout 2', right-click and go to 'Page setup'. Select 'Landscape' to get a landscape drawing orientation, and then select 'OK'. Next, you'll need to click on the plot style table pop-up and choose 'Default.ctb'. We've selected millimeters and a plot scale of 1:1. You can change the units to inches or millimeters.

Click on 'Print as pdf' to get a pdf soft copy output, and in the paper size popup choose a suitable paper size depending upon your requirements. In the printer plotter configuration, you will get a pop-up list in which different plotters are listed. To do this, you'll need to right-click on 'Layout 1' and click on 'Page setup'. You can select the right layouts to properly communicate your unique design.
